Hub Overview:
HackFab Losi Mini-T/B Brass Rear Hub. Oval racers often favor left weight bias to improve handling. Brass hubs are popular in 1/10 oval racing because they add unsprung weight to the left rear tire, helping it stay planted in corners. However, with the small size of the Losi Mini hubs, simply using aluminum or brass wouldn’t make much of a difference. To address this, HackFab designed the hub to maximize material, adding “ears” for extra weight and mass. Additionally, the drop-hub design provides increased adjustability for improved performance.
Note:
- These will not work with TLR Mini-B CVA’s as those have a larger inner bearing
- For the MIP axles, some shimming with 4mm (ID) shims might be advised
